ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO PHARMACY PROGRAMS UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS

(Note: The Candidate applying to any of the Undergraduate programs of the institution shall be 17 years as on 31 December of the year of admission and shall be medically it to undergo the said programs. The candidate must fulfill the following eligibility criteria over and above the aforementioned condition.)

Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm)

A pass in 10+2 examination (science academic stream) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics. or Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the above examination.
Course Duration: 2 Years

B.Pharm

Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective State/Central Government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
Course Duration: 4 Years

B Pharm (Lateral Entry, Diploma to Degree in Pharmacy)

A pass in D. Pharm. course from an Institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
Course Duration: 3 Years

INTEGRATED POST-GRADUATE PROGRAM:

Pharm. D.

A pass in any of the following examinations –

  1. 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:
    Mathematics or Biology.
  2. A pass in D.Pharm course from an Institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
  3. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations. Provided that a student should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.

Course Duration: 05 Years + 12 Months Internship

POST-GRADUATE PROGRAM:

Pharm. D. (PB)

A pass in B. Pharm from an Institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
Course Duration: 02 Years + 12 Months Internship

Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) – All Branches

*A Pass in the following examinations

  1. B. Pharm Degree Examination of an Indian university established by law in India from an Institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India and has scored not less than 55 % of the maximum marks (aggregate of 4 years of B.Pharm.)
  2. Every student, selected for admission to post graduate Pharmacy program in any PCI approved Institution should have obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of his/her admission, failing which the admission of the candidate shall be cancelled.
    Note: It is mandatory to submit a migration certificate obtained from the respective University where the candidate had passed his/her qualifying degree (B.Pharm.)

Course Duration: 2 Years

Post-graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Marketing & Management

  1. The candidate shall have passed B Pharm. / M Pharm. from an Institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act OR
  2. The candidate shall have B. Sc. / M. Sc. with a 2 year work experience in the pharmaceutical Industry in a sales / marketing profile.
